About Designer

As a person who has always been fascinated by creativity and fashion, I started my journey as a jewellery designer in 2004 after completing my postgraduate degree in designing. With 20+ years experience in this field, I have worked wonders for many leading brands. Even after years of hard work in my field, I felt like something was missing. That's when my destiny took a turn and led me towards the textile industry. After that, I started working on Brahmand in 2020 and finally manifested my dream in the form of the brand “BRAHMAND” in 2022. 

Muse behind BRAHMAND

The word Brahmand, which means “Shrishti” came to my mind because of our mother earth. All the plants, trees, mountains, oceans, creatures, traditions, and cultures that our planet homes make up the Brahmand we live in. I wanted to express the beauty of the elements that exist in this realm through my craftsmanship. This thought pushed me to choose this majestical name. 

A Nostalgic Visit

Since childhood, the fashion industry has attracted me towards itself with an undefeatable force, and I just gave in. The traditional motifs, traditional architecture, nature, and different hues of this world pulled me in, and I just went with the flow. My mother's colourful traditional wardrobe also enchanted me, making me call it a “Khazana” and yes, it was no less than a treasure for an explorer like me. I used to wear her sarees and try different colour combinations in order to explore something unique. This pursuit for uniqueness made Brahmand come into existence.
